In Bed With Me

Internetperformance, in cooperation with the Centre d'image contemporaine Genève, 2000

The internetproject "In bed with me" from Marc Mouci works with the themes of human approachment and the going public of private and intim rooms. Marc Mouci invites per internet into his bedroom in which the guest can enter in real life. The guest communicates first per email with the host and can book in this way a night with the performer in his bed. The internetperformance started in July 2000 and will continue until December 2000. During the exhibition from the 23.9.-22.10.00 in the Stadtgalerie in Bern (Switzerland) Marc Mouci offered also a night with him in a new bed. The whole project ist not a sexual offer but a possibility to test and experience a intim situation. The nights with the guests and their statements and reactions are documentated and can be seen on the web.

The visitor of the website of the internetperformance In Bed With Me has the possibility to follow the whole action on internet or to participate in an active way. The participation of the guests is crucial for this work as they are a part of the performance.

In bed with me
I made this offer during 6 months. The offer was made public on the internet. I filmed the night with the videocamera. This performance was about human approachment and intimacy. About 20 persons participated in this action.
